KH is the worst guitar player to ever receive noteriety from the masses. He has not one quality worthy of praise. I seen a live video of him doing Little Wing... o my God, talk about turning over in a grave. When I think of Kirk, I think of CC Deville.

I didn't really hear any of the 'evil' in the guitars of that clip. Nor did I hear the 'wickedness' in Hetfields singing. Seems like Metallica is about to put out yet another CD full of background music that does not and can not stand out on its own.

Still, they _used_ to be quite good. Puppets, Lightning, the older Metallica records were the thing that got me (as well as many others, it seems) into metal in the first place. So what if DT and SX took their place later? Nowadays Hammett's playing doesn't seem so unearthly when compared to Romeo or Petrucci, but six-seven years ago when I was just learning what the heck distortion was, he WAS almost like a god.

Ok, I just listened to the clips twice. That was the biggest pile of crap I have ever heard. I have no regrets saying that they are by far the worst band on the planet. I think I like N'sync and backstreet boys better than that bullcrap. I couldn't even tell it was hetfield. He was so offkey its not even funny. And the drums, my god I could probably play that crap while drunk, high, and trippin all at the same time. And I could still play it better than Lars. He is the worst excuse for a drummer I have ever listen to. I hope I never hear that crap again in my lifetime.

I really didn't expect it to be this long. I was just kind of frustrated because I thought there would be at least a little bit of discussion about SX and Mike Romeo at the ESP message board, but all they are talking about is Kirk and James. Very dissapointing and mind-numbing indeed.
