The first couple announcements were really sweet but they've gotten worse and worse as time goes on. Down as a headliner? Lame. Where is King Diamond???

Lineup is pretty cool but I agree, headliners are kind of lame this year (honestly, I saw Carcass already - don't really need to see it again). The only bands I'd really die to see are Cobalt, !T.O.O.H.!, and Iniquity. Px and Repulsion would be icing on the cake but they're always doing something. Punk stage would definitely be the most fun. Lots of bands I've seen before but are definitely worth seeing again. Shame I'm missing out this year. Last year was fun (aside from Bmore being a toilet).

I am still planning to get there, watch Ihsahn, get back in my car and leave.

And no, I am not a death metal hater... I just don't know much of the rest of the lineup, am not really interested in what I know, and honestly don't have the time to invest in checking out band by band in hopes of finding someone that I enjoy that would make me stay for more.

I do hope everyone who thinks the lineup is great can make it and have the time of their lives. It's just not the case for me.

Leprous was never confirmed as part pf MDF, though they're obviously Ihsahn's backing band. They're doing lots os Euro festivals this year (leprous.net for dates), but the majority of them as Leprous and not as Ihsahn's band.

No SE date sucks if I can't make it to MDF. I will change to if they ever do a full US tour I will be shocked.
