I think it's about time I started posting in this forum.
Has anybody here heard of Ikuinen Kaamos? I think they'd appeal to fans of Opeth very much. They're a little more black metal, using the occasional blast beat. The old vocalist (Henri Villberg from Rapture) is amazing, his range goes from fairly low, roaring growls to perfecto black metal. Their album 'The Forlorn' was released this year and it's my top album ever. Each song is around the ten minute mark, they're all progressive masterpieces.

yeah I did mention them here some time ago, they are very good and they are working on a new album
