I'll be honest with you guys

Get out of this forum!! How dare you!! ;)

Come on now, you should know that it's ok, I mean there are lots of other cool bands out there too. It wouldn't be good to listen to just SymX and not any others. The last time I listened to SymX was two days ago. I only listen to them every once in a while, because if I listen to them too much, I get so sick of it that I have to put it away for a month or so. It's like candy...use sparingly... :)

*cringes in shame*

Nothing wrong with that...

There was a period last year when I didn't listen to Symphony X very much for a few months... sometimes you just don't feel like it... and are in the mood for something else...

lately however... i've been listening to Symphony X multiple times every day! I love them more than ever now! (Especially V)

im getting massive Divine Wings of Tragedy withdrawals since my CD player was stolen with the precious CD in it a few weeks ago. :( If anyone can help me out here, PM me.

Thanks

I think it's better to go without your fave music for a while as once you start listening to them again, the feeling is immense and I start licking the SX albums as I feel so horny. ;)

I'm listening to Spiral Architect alot lately. Im listenin g to it now. Is there any other tech metal bands I should cheack out?

I hate to do this, but I always end up doing it....I listen to a band or cd too much and then I don't listen to it for a while....then I pick it up again and the whole cycle starts again.....lmao....

Cheers.

I listen to a lot of classic prog right now. Hawkwind, ELP, Yes, that kinda stuff.

The longest I've gone without listening to a single Symphony X song? 3 days. That was when I first heard "Divine Wings of Tragedy" and my friend borrowed the disc from me.

Try Spastic Ink..Zero Hour..& Power of Omens..all kickass complex/technical progmetal bands. :)

Man... i have gone a few weeks before. I have my cds alphabetized on a vertical shelf, so symX is hidden way down at the bottem. So i listen to a lot of stuff through about I, then i don't usually go down to the S's or the T's unless there is something specific i am looking for, in which case everything else is passed up. Of course, there are the times when i am just looking through and i see the odyssey and go "hello there...". I haven't listened to V for about... shit, quite a number of months. Last i listened to was DWOT about a week ago or so. That was awesome.

Yes, I have Andromeda, Power of Omens, Zero Hour. Andromeda isn't really in the "technical metal" genre. Sure, its technical, but I'm looking for Wantchtower/Spiral Architect technical.
