Hey guys,
Been a long time since I played a live gig. Since my last band, Thoughts Of Ruin, disbanded, I've been more focused on writing and recording at home etc.
An old friend recently got in touch, his band were stuck for a drummer, so I said I'd help out.
Enjoyed my first gig about 2 weeks ago - but I dunno if I'm 100% ready to go back to the live scene, primarily due to financial considerations. The music's primarily nu-metal(ish) which doesn't go over well here in Ireland, but compared to my last band, the drumming's a walk in the park which gives me the freedom to completely rock-out behind the kit! :)

Anyways, here's 2 MP3 tracks on our upcoming (second) album:
Emo Grinder (working title)
Human Nature (Feat. El Butcho from French nu-metal band Watcha)

These mixes are pretty different to what you usually hear around here, so I know that it may not be to everyone's taste. Enjoy.

Niall.

Good luck with it, thoughts of ruin were great on C.D. but I never cought you live. Id say youl have a hard time winning over audiences with the nu metal sound but sur just keep professional. Worked for Roper, there sound was a dated nu metal mudvayne rip off but they pulled it off by having a great attitude and being 100% professional.

Going slightly off topic it was a crying shame they broke up when they did. The stuff they wrote after the gallows hill was insane, afaik though it was never recorded :(.

Cheers guys!

Barry: Yeah, I played with Roper before, it was after their Gallow's Hill album too, sound guys and pretty savage live - 5150s brought them a great live sound. There's some ToR stuff on YouTube, live gigs were always solid as fuck! :)

Mark: Cheers mate! Finally got me a 6505 to pair with the Krank I got off ya too. :)

Playing "nu-metal" in Ireland is tough but I do gotta say that at the gig I played, it was a refreshing change to see kids bouncing to the music instead of just beating the shit outta eachother! :)

Mate, I don't care where you, this'll go down well anywhere! IT'S A LONG WAY... TO TIPPERARY! ;)
