importing midi drums in pro tools help!!

hi guys.

I need help. I recently started using the SSD pack in kontakt and i'm having difficulty when importing drum tracks.

This may seam like a noobish question but how do i go about making sure the correct track is matched to a particular drum when importing?

for example the kick track matches the kick drum in kontakt and doesn't play the floor tom instead.

any help would be great thanks.

EDIT: also this particular track i'm working on seams to have a seperate cymbal track. i've try'd using the midi transpose option but still no luck even after dropping the octave.

I'd say you have to figure our the notes the original midi track uses for each drum/cymbal and set the ssd to match those.

Haven't used kontakt much but i remember that can be done. Or then manually select the midi note so that it selects all hits assigned to it and then move them where they're supposed to be.

Those are my two cents anyway.
