Importing tempo midi in cubase

Hi,

Normally when I was creating a midi in guitar pro and then importing the midi in cubase, cubase would take all the tempo information. But now when I'm doing it cubase just stay at the original tempo.

Does someone knows why ?

make sure you've set your tempo to "track", not "fixed"

Well, I had to Import a midi file BEFORE creating a project. and not crating a projetc then importing the midi

... why? just import it into an existing project or make a blank one or something.
