Hi guys!
I've been trying some new mixing stuff recently and I think I realy improved my sound! But right now I'm kinda stuck, I'd realy love to add some extra punch to my songs, but I don't know how!
Here's one of them, I chose it because I also wanted to change the mixing of the snare which sounds kinda fake during the blasts.
I hope you'll be able to help me out there, I'm planning on releasing an EP soon with all of my songs, but I still need to find the perfect sound which will make them sound a lot more catchy and clean!
Thanks in advance, here's the link!

Song 3: You Look Like S**t.

It's a pretty well written song and it sounds fairly good for the most part. I think you need to mess with the velocity of the drums a bit though, because the initial blast beats sounded louder than some beats after them, and this isn't how drums work normally, and it is infact the other way around most of the time. The snare is too loud and consistent in some of the blasts.

I think if you lowered the volume of the guitars a tad, it would make them sit in the mix with the drums a lot better.

I'm sorry I can't offer more help.

Thanks! I lowered the guitars and changed the mixing of the snare (lowered it during the blasts too) and the kick. Better?

Version 2

Here's another song I did, with the same mixing, what do you think?

Song 1 & 2: This Is What I Call + A Day To Remember

Also, any advices about how to improve the sound of the guitars? Actually, I only use a CurveEQ and Rcomp on them.

EDIT: Shit there's something missing in the last song, I'll fix it.
EDIT: Fixed! :)

why can everyone else get a convincing tone out of gearbox, but i seem to suck so hard at it?!

the interlude is a bit mad! haha. not really to my taste.. but thats a taste issue :)

it sounds pretty darn good!

as for the snare, turn off snap and move each hit just a tiny tiny bit backward/forward from where its meant to be, and edit the velocities too! loads of fun to be had doing that, but it'll make it sounds more convincing i think!

overall, i'm impressed!!
thanks,
