Yeah it's all very well to say that but you defeated the point of the test by using a machine to do what your ears should be telling you then blowing the results early. Anyone can achieve a logical outcome in that scenario, that's not interesting, what is interesting is whether people can get there by finesse alone.

Anyway whilst I can abstain from reading the thread, I was more interested in other peoples results which, if the answer is already out prematurely, could be considered skewered.
 
If you want to actually do a blind test, then just don't read the comments before posting.
Yeah, anyway there's no real way to do a blind test on the internet as anyone can analyze the files and "guess" which is which, so I don't believe anyone telling me they could tell 320 from wav.
 
I think I want to do this test soon with my rig. As soon as I have some time.

On any note, you can just about always distinguish a real amp from an impulse by listening for a certain kind of fizz-haze that's only on real mic'd tones that adds a certain amount of air to the tone.
