In The Absence Of Truth

Come on.. Did anyone actually think it'd be bad? It's Isis! To me, they seem to keep on getting better with each release.

I look forward to listening to this when sampling some fine herbs.

I heard one short clip of this album and it sounded like total Tool-worship with hardcore screams in place of Maynard's awesome vocals.

i doubt there is any tool worship at all. if you follow the band's development from early on, you will see how they managed to distinguish themselves from a merely neurosis worshipping band by making variations on the sound that forms the basis of much of their music. tool has not come in at any moment, really.

Other than touring with them ;)

Haha, you should really listen again. Theres way more clean vocals then screaming so I'm sure you didn't listen to much. The only Tool influence I can hear is the drums (because he took lessons from Danny), and maybe some of the bass sound at times.
