LOVE it! Can't wait to hear the new tracks live.. although I heard Dulcinea, 1000 shards, and Holy tears when I saw them last time they played here but I wasn't used to them.

Agreed, its definitely a grower. The drums are seriously amazing, especially considering the progression since last album. I can't believe he got that much better.

First listen I wasn't impressed and I didn't think it would grow on me, but amazingly it does! I like it quite a lot now.

I heard the album 3 times so far. Doesn't sound as good as Oceanic or Panopticon so far. We'll see on further listens.

i doubt there is any tool worship at all. if you follow the band's development from early on, you will see how they managed to distinguish themselves from a merely neurosis worshipping band by making variations on the sound that forms the basis of much of their music. tool has not come in at any moment, really.

Only thing I don't like is the album cover. It's a bit too...... obvious.

Haha, you should really listen again. Theres way more clean vocals then screaming so I'm sure you didn't listen to much. The only Tool influence I can hear is the drums (because he took lessons from Danny), and maybe some of the bass sound at times.
