Well I had heard of this interestingly named band before and so today, on my 12 hour downloading spree, which really is nothing new since I do this everyday, I downloaded them. The song Vampyre Erotica is pretty cool, reminds me slighty of Nightwish.

Anyone else here heard them or have reccommendations for what to get?

I've got their last album, and the drum porgramming really gets on my tits..

I'm fine with programmed drums as long as it's not the same bar repeated ad nauseum for the entire song

I've seen the band name around in mags and heard they were pretty kool. Downloaded one of their songs and discovered that they totally sucked.

This is mild gothic/pagan rock with good female vocals, the newest CD "supernature" is easily their weakest effort, must go back to older material for best work:
-belladonna and aconite
-wytches
-vampyre erotica
These are hard to find in USA since label is Resurrection UK, but worth having one or two of the better older albums if you are into gothic rock like Siouxsie & Banshees etc. After you have heard one CD they are a bit repetitive and the Inkies don't change the formula much.

Vampyre Erotica is actually my favourite album, although Wytches comes a close second! I know you mean about the drum programming Russell, it took me a bit of getting used to. I don't think it detracts from the music, but it doesn't sound particullarly realistic or original.
