Nobody's mentioned it yet so I'll assume it's either not what you're looking for or you already know aaalllll about it but... what about Burzum? Burzum/Aske has exactly what I'd call anguished moans. Most bands do harsh vocals, that is to say they are singing. Not Burzum, Burzum is actually screaming, and that's one of my favorite things about it.

Yeah, I've heard Burzum, it's great but not what I'm looking for. None of the recommendations I've heard yet are what I'm looking for, though I haven't found them all yet.
