Good instrumental death metal must be rare, though I imagine something atmospheric and technical like Ulcerate - The Destroyers of All would still be damn fine without vocals.

Enough to know they're not my thing. Not usually into the progressive/shreddy elements. It did remind me that Into Orbit's drummer played on this track for an instrumental band he used to be in. Pretty interesting:
