I personally thought the movie was great but then again, I've never read the book. Though, I could have done away with Jodie Foster as the leading role.

Good picture, Kev. A lot of people fail to realize how we're just a speck, like Warrel said. The universe is a vast space with so many possibilities and recently, these possibilities are being further explored. With the LHC and the current search for Earth-like planets that house intelligent beings alike ourselves, the naive people are in for a shock in future days.

Now if only we knew how to utilize wormholes.....
