Last Night Into Eternity Rocked out about 14 songs. 6 from each album(the first album does not count) and 2 new ones. There sound was fantastic. This time everyone was healthy and could sing. Stu blew me away with his range hiting every note with ease. Adam, Tim, Rob and Troy were all into it as well. There were about 150-200 people at JJ Kellys to see the show, I guss that is ok considering it was a sunday night. I found out that the boys wont be making the trip to PP this year to hang out because they will be in Ohio for a show. Oh well.

next show...Eric Johnson HoB the 19th.

i saw into eternity last PP, and i saw it again last may 28th, here in Monterrey Metal Fest, and here, they sounds more structured and compact than last year in atlanta, i like it.

For a band that had recently gone through a bunch of turmoil and lineup changes a couple months prior to ProgPower, I thought IE put on an excellent set.

As for me, I'll be seeing them here in Cleveland later this month, with Krisiun and Incantation.

Sucks that they won't be at PP this year. They'll be missed. Cool guys.
Yea, too bad about that, was looking forward to it. But these guys sure are an aggressive touring band. Always good to see they got another gig. We'll be seeing them Saturday in Worcester Mass. with Krisiun, Hate Eternal, Incantation and All Shall Perish. Also catching Rhapsody and Manowar dowstairs, same night, same venue. Should be an interesting contrast. :u-huh:

Checking out that schedule, looks like we'll see them at the Hammerfall/Edguy tour in NY and the Strato tour. Awesome!
Do these guys ever take a break?

I was at that show at JJ Kelly's didnt think there were that many people there.

Anyway they did kill once again. Those guys rule.

Didnt know that they're not going to be able to make it to ATL to hang out that sucks. I guess I'll I have to see them at their 2 HOB shows.

Awesome Bear, thanks for posting those dates. I probably won't go to the Hate Eternal show as I don't like any of those other bands, but will definitely be at the other 3 SF shows they have! Nice, some great shows coming here.

Good thinking. Ill see you at both shows!

I saw them at the Dayton date, good show but the set was only 35 min which was not enough. I am suprised to see them listed with Hammerfall/Edguy because the bassist said that they turned it down. If they are playing with Hammerfall/Edguy I will be seeing them two more times this year, Aug 15th and Sept 19 at Jaxx

Yo John you up for going to the Concord show they are headlining on tuesday Oct 11th? I am totally stoked that we get them 5 times this year, woooot!!!!

Also Testament, Hirax, Laaz Rockit, Vicious Rumors, Imagika and some other bands are playing a Cancer benefit show on July 9th at the Pound, which happens to be my birthday, should be a killer shoiw. It's an outdoor / indoor show , it will start early at 3:00 PM and shopuld kick alot of ass!!

This is one of those wierd bands for me. I absolutely love ther music on disc. However, I think they're a lousy live band. I realize that their line-up is always in flux, and that's going to create a lack of cohesion, but from my persepctive, if your current line-up can't pull off the material live, don't play until it can.

I saw them at PP and thought they were disappointing. I gave them a bit of a break because their line-up was in flux, and because I figued with going on first, they probably didn't get a great sound check. Then I saw them with Amorphis, and they were just terrible. Once again, I try to cut them slack, because their line-up was again in flux, and this time the band was sick to boot. I'm hoping the singer was also sick, because if he wasn't, then he just can't sing. All that aside, I'm looking forward to their next CD.

I caught this show at JJ Kelley's as well. Despite the manager being a dick, the 4 awful, awful openers, and the show starting an hour later, IE put on an awesome show! It was cool to hear all the vocal harmonies this time since they were healthy. And the two new tunes sounded promising as well.

Saw them in VA on the Incantation/Krisiun/Hate Eternal tour, and despite the fact they only played 5 songs, they sounded great. With their performance in March being such a disaster, it was great to see them in full force. I no longer have any worries of this new lineup, and can't wait to see them perform a longer, more diverse set with Stratovarius (on a tour like this I didn't expect them to play much more than a handful of songs showing their "death metal" side).

Just curious, are they confirmed for the Edguy/Hammerfall tour? I've heard everything from yes, to only a few dates, to not at all. If they are, that would be great considering another event with the openers and closers of last year's PP :)

It seems like the current lineup will stick together for a while. I've seen them 3 times now and I can say they keep getting better since that PP show. They're spending a lot of time on the road and that only helps the newer guys come along.

I liked the first band at that JJ Kelly's show they were different vs the other openers who just sound like any other band cookie monster band.

Someone fill me in, is the current singer (Stu?), a different guy than was at ProgPower? I saw a recent band photo and he looks different, but I recognized everyone else. If so, that could be really good since the guy at ProgPower was I thought the weakest part of their set. He was just super pitchy and reaching for the high notes. Not that it's an easy role the way their material is written. They might as well get a Castrato with the amount of ridiculous highs the just-vocals-guy has to do.
