Invisible had some gems
...and Stalingrad of course!

White Darkness is all together a nice package... it doesn't have any bad songs.
thay all seem to me very ageless and long termed while Invisible had a few "hit" songs that are very very good, but you grow tired in them.

wow, seems like WD is slaying the shit out of Invisible!

I can't decide. Sorry. With songs like Atlantis Rising... Invisible can be hard to beat. Invisible has a little bit more variation in the songs than WD. But WD is probably more complete.

Definitely WD. It feels more... Organic, if thats a good term.

But as with all Nightingale albums, Invisible is still a great listen.

My vote ? WD. I think it´s a better album but only slightly. WD have a diffrent
production that suits the music and Dan´s voice better than the dry sound on
"Invisible" but i kind of like that "dry" sound. The vocals/production on WD is first class and some of our best songs is on it but there are killers on "Invisible" too:
"Stalingrad" ( My all time fav. NG song ) "The wake" "To the end" ( underated, one of Dan best lyrics ) "Raincheck..."

Yes To the End is truely outstanding! Another great track is One of the Lonely ones which actually contains my fav NG solo! :kickass:
The only song I'm not so found of is World's Apart which actually is the only NG song I'm not found of.

Definitely Invisible.

I seem to be in the minority that thinks it's the best NG album. I really dig the Deep Purple/Uriah Heep influenced style on it, and it has a ton of songs that I love (To the End, Misery, Still Alive, Raincheck, Stalingrad).

WD is a great album, I haven't really got any complaints about it, it just has fewer tracks that really grab me. The title-track is a masterpiece though; one of the best songs I've heard this year. I love the packaging too - unlike most hard rock/metal albums, it's very simple, classy and tasteful.

I picked WD but I think it would be more interesting to see what people like most out of all 6. I like all the albums so it'd be a tough call.
