With prog/power releases being a bit slow these past few months, I have been exploring the progressive Celtic rock genre. Iona has quickly become one of my faves originally because of Troy Donockley's involvement (up until 2009).

What I find great about this genre is that I actually enjoy the live discs more than the studio releases.

they used to have a big Celtic Music fest in Chicago at Grant Park and all sorts of variety of bands from rock to classic celtic stuff there. Unfortunatly with budget cuts that festival is gone.

Yeah, Heaven's Bright Sun is one of the best live albums I own. Just a warning that they are very Christian, but they are very good.
