Did you wake up one day and say "Hey, I think I'll be attracted to women"? Did you not naturally develop an attraction for the opposite sex? Since you think people can 'choose' their sexuality... if you wanted to, could you choose to be gay right now? Just think about those questions for a bit.

When people think you're a disgrace, and a sick person. It's not as easy to just 'not be ashamed of yourself' if you're gay in this world.

This discussion should be over, as TWO OPS have come on this thread, one who is practicaly in charge of everything (IanDork) to say he was saying fucked up shit.

Ian banned him for 3 days, then he came back in under a different name and was talking shit. I banned that person not knowing it was regur. Then I saw him post something to UM, not looking at the name he posted it on, I unbanned him. Then I realized the same asshole was Regur, so I placed him on ban, where he will remain untill his IP changes. Simple as that.

Guys, I've seen a lot of unnecessary banning...
I've tried to remain rather laissez faire with the hub, because while I have infinite power regarding the hub's existance, I don't think it's right to take infinite command because the hub belongs to all of us, not just myself. The hub should be directly or indirectly administered by all of us. With that said, I don't think it's right for other ops to be ban happy either. Unless someone has really committed a major offense, they shouldn't be banned from the very outset. Also, a little more lenience should be given for people lacking in slottage. Give them a chance to increase their slot count before kicking/banning....
Also, people have the right to say moronic things if they want. They shouldn't be banned for saying disagreeable things like "i hate fags" or whatever, because we should regard all ideas with neutrality to avoid being fascist assholes. I refuse to run a fascist hub on my server. But, if they said "i hate fags" over and over scrolling up the screen annoyingly, then obviously they could rightly be banned. That would go for any statement, because scrolling is disruptive to chatting. People should only be banned for the disruptive methods of their speech, not the actual content of it.

I think my civil liberties class has finally gotten to me haha

Yes that is nice but exactly when will you start using this "infinite power" to take better control of the dumbass ops that represent you? I believe you are an irresponsible son of a bitch if Iron-Flames remains Unbanned ( yea thats right, he should not only loose his ops but he should be banned allthogheter for having personal stupid fights with the users ) Otherwise, i dont see why you should keep your stupid crap running, and i definitely think that what i said before ( in spanish ) about getting a capable group of people to flood your hub out of existance should be executed unless we see more stupid ops banned and less of this "infinite power" bullshit.
