Actually, if the Maiden biography is correct, the band almost always opened their shows with Ides Of March and Wrathchild for their first two tours. Beast On The Road Tour opened with Murders In The Rue Morgue; most every tour since then has opened up with the first song on whatever album they're promoting at the time.

You're quite wrong :D

I've got a tape of maiden from the Killers tour. I'd have to replay it to find out exactly what songs were played, but I do know that the set list is not as long as what your showing. It's only about 30 minutes. I would be really stoked if the tape had all that! Regardless, it still kicks major butt!

Your comments.

The Somewhere On Tour tour I saw twice. One of the two shows they played Deja Vu. Maybe it was a case of swapping with another song, or just playing an extra? I dunno. Nonetheless, very cool. Keep this lists coming...it jars the memories.

Yeah. Deja-Vu was played once or twice.

Somewhere on tour definetely was a weak setlist, they never played more than 4 songs from the album, and the rest was filled with the Best OF. A shame also that they don't play the Somewhere songs anymore.
They improved on Seventh Son. But they got worse again on No prayer and Fear of the Dark. Why recent maiden songs are not classic is because they didn't made them classic by playing it over and over and promoting it. Instead of releasing Sanctuary and Run to the Hills a million times, they could have promote great material from later album...
Just my opinion, but I think it is real...
If I had to play covers, I would cover No prayer & Somewhere :headbang:
