Iron Maiden Songs in Rock Band

Well I'll admit ya can spend your money on the real stuff too - tho living in a 3rd floor apt no way in hell that'll happen any day soon, don't wana get kicked out.

Conversely, it's fun as hell to have friends over and play a multiplayer game like that. Something you can't exactly do with you're own bass or drum kit (hey, why don't you all just sit on the couch listening as I play this bass line at you) :p

Some people may call it "jumping on the bandwagon," but it was Konami that actually started making these music games with DrumMania and Guitar Freaks. And now, they're preparing to compete with Rock Band and Guitar Hero with their upcoming creation: Rock Revolution. Now all they need are some Iron Maiden songs...

This also always bothered me. I find the Rock Band covers more unbearable though. What exactly is the point in putting in covers?

1) The band wouldn't license the song.

2) The original masters weren't available. Some bands actually re-recorded them for GHIII. Living Color re-recorded "Cult of Personality" specifically for GHIII because they couldn't find the original recordings. Ditto the Sex Pistols.

Good friend of mine, her bro is a drummer. They put Rock Band on top level difficulty and he drumed through songs he'd never even heard of with perfect scores hehe.

And then there's this video of Scott Ian completely blowing it on GH II playing his own song. :)

Dave Mustaine fares a little better.

I could have gone completely nuts when I was buying tour shirts. I settled for 4 tho - two Twickenham ones (one for a friend), the Live After Death and the Aces High one. I would have bought them all tho!! I spent £80 in 20 seconds!! o_O

Jenna's gonna love this...

Interesting note: Chris Brightwell once told me that our very own Damage Inc. were approached by Activision and offered to be motion-capture stand-ins for Metallica.

Finally unlocked the DW kit. Here ya go, Linda.

Ah, they have DW!!! Thanks for the new kit, Jeremy! My kit is very close to this one but mine is Birch instead of Maple. I don't know why but I always seem to end up getting birch kits. Maybe a maple or a combo of the two are in the future! :headbang: Why just have one DW kit? In the words of Sara Marsh, "Don't deny yourself!"

Latest addition on Guitar Hero World Tour. It doesn't show on these pics, but her guitar is as bright red as the real thing. If only the game allowed the option to color the pickups, though...
