I said Maiden and Dickinson owns Rob Halford

Iron Maiden is a much better band, much more unique in their sound, more talented, better live show, better fans, just a better band. Not taking anything away from Priest who is great but they don't hold a candle to Iron Maiden

I agree with the apples and the oranges quote.

PRIEST and MAIDEN are almost total opposites of each other.

I see no similarity at all b/t the 2.

PRIEST had 1 kick-butt CD, "Painkiller" CD.

MAIDEN has had about 16 kick-butt CDs.

Which one is the best band? Think about it.

i change mine to priest just to be a dooshbag then

I second that! Honestly, on staying power alone I would choose Maiden. Not many groups can go as long as they have with basically the same format and subject matter. Hell, I would toss AC/DC in also if that were the argument. But I'm guessing that this is an overall cometition, and though Priest had some damn good songs over the years, I would have to unbiasedly side with Maiden.

Both. JP are fecking amazing...but their albums are definatly not their strong point. They have a great back library tho, and Halford is a great frontman.

That said, my favorite band of all time is still Maiden. But I'll say this: Priest: Live is one of the greatest live, and rock albums, ever. (the best being, of course, Live After Death).

Okay kids, it goes like this; Maiden is composed like classical music like Beethoven on hard rock instruments and is performed with flamboyance and Priest is like Jam Rock with lots or sexy rhythm and beat sweep and shred. So they are both High caliber in their style, and I like to play both, because it’s all high quality, and it’s that simple.

Iron Maiden is a kick back and rock out while Judas Priest is a stand up and rock out. Although, The Iron Maidens are the "!HOT! Rockin'"(pun intended) band! :headbang:

I don't agree with that Priest statement - granted I only have 5 Priest albums but I think they are all awesome. Screaming For Vengeance is my favourite followed by British Steel. In saying that, Painkiller is probably my least favourite of all the albums of theirs I have (other ones are Turbo and Sad Wings Of Destiny.

"Who's better" questions never get resolved!! In this case, that holds true for sure! I love both bands - period! (I even liked Ripper, but it's not the same.)
I listen to Priest more than Maiden for some reason, but I don't like the "radio friendly" stuff they did for a while ( headin' out to the highway = :err: ). Maybe it has to do with the fact that Priest doesn't make you think too hard to understand some of the concepts! :dopey: Naw! I just need to rotate the CD collection from the house to the truck! :D

Where was I? Oh yea... They both ROCK!! :headbang: :worship:

How about we start a post of what 2 pictures in "Turbo's signature are more fascinating to watch

1) The crazy guy at the computer typing "Kramer style"

or

2) The 2 lovely ladies kissing.
