I like both, I was into Priest before I was into Maiden, but with Priest is closer to blues rock for me in that it could have been played stand alone sometimes... sort of, but it seems that Maiden guitars work more as overlay and transplant and one guitar alone seems incomplete. I love to play the hardest music I can, I also love to hold my guitar up real high like Glen Tipton does, cause it looks wicked, it says, Im not effing around, and not only that it is more effective, and you can do some wicked squat and use that Tipton signature head banging, its like a drug when youre using it to help the meter in your delivery, cause its all in the delivery. But Maiden use more chords and many chords with and details that have little distinctions but their songs are less formula structure and use a wider scope of variety.
