...or is anyone else here looking forward to the forthcoming Outworld CD?

There's one of the tracks (The Never), fully mixed & mastered available for download here:

Kelly Carpenter's vocals are ungodly & mixed with Rusty Cooley's insane prog shredfest - I think this album along with the impending Symphony X will be the best of 2006!

Keep them bookmarked at...

Totally stoked - I was never a Rusty fan (thought he was just another guy who considers the guitar an extreme sport, albeit far more extreme than the others), but once I saw a few Outworld videos it totally changed my mind about the guy. And the vocals sound great.

Yeah, I think Rusty can be a bit too clinical at times in his delivery, but I'm hoping with this new CD that the song structures will be a big departure in the general aura of his playing. The pre-production samples I've heard are totally killer, so when the CD is released in hopefully April - I imagine it'll be difficult to remove from my playlist.

You're really lucky to have seen Outworld videos, I'm hoping they tour here in the UK so I get the chance to see them live. They finally found a new drummer now (check out the myspace link below for info), so hopefully an appearance at Bloodstock could be arranged...

It's a shame Kelly is no longer part of Beyond Twilight, but I'm glad he's in another cool band... his vocals are too awesome to be kept to himself.
