Is pod farm worth getting?

I'm tempted to buy a line 6 pod studio ux1 which comes with podfarm. I'd then get the metal pack as well. Pod farm plugin costs 99 dollars alone or you can get the pod studio ux1 for the same price!. So I see no reason to not get the pod studio. It would be nice to have a backup audio interface. But I have a question. Is podfarm worth getting? How does it compare to the other amp sims out there? I already have a pod hd500 but I've heard better tones from pod farm than with the new HDs. Convince me to buy it!

well screw it I'm going to buy it! Fun Christmas present for myself! If I don't like it then I can always sell it or maybe I'll just give it to my friend.

I just got it about a month ago. I'm a newbie to recording and mixing but it's been great for me so far, especially with IRs instead of the stock cabs.

It's (obviously) tried and true. For demos, I'll stick to the sick free amp sims out there that have countless impulses.
If I'm doing a big production I'll outsource it to be reamped by a professional.
