Anyone get the new Sepultura? Is it any good?

i got caught out with the nation album(god that was a pile of crap)so i aint gonna give them another cance.

they used to be one of my fave bands but sep without max just cant cut it,arise and chaos albums are metal classics!

I've heard it and it's no better than any other post-Max records which for me means average at best.

There's just nothing on any of those 3 albums that excites me. Shame really cause they were amazing up until Max pissed off.

I thought Roorback was really good actually, they seem to have found their own with Derrick on vocals. Certainly all the people that say that Seps without Max are crap is totally unfair, I mean at least they are doing something a little different.

Every Soulfly album sounds the same.

I've only listened to my Roorback album once but I'd say it's the worst of the post-Max era.

It actually kicks ass! I like this album A LOT - one of the best Sepultura records for me. And you should have seen it live!

Hmmmmmm..... I'd download (sample) SOME of it but first, my computer is still fucked, and second, I don't want the S.W.A.T. team coming here.
Maybe they have some mp3s up at their site.....

I agree that Sepultura w/out Max isn't as good, but I liked Against. Nation wasn't very good.

Roorback is good IMO, not great but good just like Soulfly. I REALLY wish Max would get his head out of his wifes ass and go back to Sepultura but I know it'll probably never happen.

Sepultura is not dead!!! They are just different now!!!
and I think Derrick is a better singer than Max.

To conclude, I think it 's very easy to puke on bands when they decided to change their music style.
Sepultura had the balls to do it!!! Congratulation!!!

I've never said I was a fan...
The old Sepultura is cool but I don't imagine Max singing "Water", for example.
