Slayer are still the kings of Metal!!! They are still very underground compared to Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and the other bands they came up with. Still singing about Satan as well!!! Don't see Metallica (fags) still singing about cool "metal" shit.

Anyone else catch their performance on Jimmy Kimmel last night? I sat through 10 minutes of commercials just so the damn producers could cut Slayer off just after they started their second song. The first song was good though.

Tom's vocals sounded like shit yesterday - just incoherent mumbling (I couldn't make out one word he was saying)

they chose some shit song from their new album so it wasn't really anything great

I can see why most people (if not everyone) perfers the older albums, but to dismiss it as crap is a bit harsh if you ask me. People are expecting too much from Slayer, it was obvious that their new album was going to sound similar to alot of their others and use alot of similar riff's, thats Slayer for you. Not the most creative band anymore, but still bloody entertaining to listen to.

Their newer material is, in my opinion of course, not good as it used to be. 'God Hates Us All' and 'Christ Illusion' were good at first, but quickly got old and barely get listened to anymore.
