Saw it last week and was pleasently surprised as I went in with low expectations. I still prefer the first but it was a solid movie. Definitely a step in the right direction as to the mood and feel of the character and environment. It was mostly filmed here in Chicago, and it was fun to watch it at a theater downtown, as the buildings and streets on screen where literally a few blocks away

I saw Matrix 2 at the Jack London theater in Oakland, literally 2 blocks from where a lot of the freeway chase was filmed. It was kind of a trip for all of us in the theatre.
