Is this mastering worthy? (Hardcore)

Hey Guys!

I´m currently mixing the new album of my band and we want to send it away for mastering! (I´ll open a separate thread for a mastering studio shootout)

Anyway, I´ve done a first mix and I want to know if there are any things I could improve for a better final product.

I think a louder preview would be more realistic, I only think it's lacking volume for now, but when you start raising the overall volume you`ll have to do adjustments I`m afraid. I always mix loud so I have a better preview. So far OK.

What's the tempo of the song?

It sounds really clear when i listen to it at low levels, but the high-end gets quite harsh on my ears when i raise the volume.

I'll update the song in a few days... I'll receive my first piece of outboard soon (overstayer comp) and I hope it will give some analog goodness to the mix and helps getting rid of the harshness. I'll also raise the volume of the vocals and the whole mix.
