all i can say is that the whole situation is VERY sad indeed
both sides are sick and tired from all those killing, and sadly, sometimes the leaders from both sides make mistakes that we people, need to pay for.
i would also like to tell you, that here on this board we try to keep it Politics-Free
we wouldnt want to get into any politic argument, because obviously- so many people have so many different views and opinions.
Music, like the music Orphaned Land does, is something that can reach to everybody, from any country, any race, religion or color, and thats what this board is all about.
we try to keep it as a friendly politics-free place, where people from any country can come and enjoy a place where everybody likes the same thing.
i'll end my post with a story- that might show you what most of us feel
When i travelled in Egypt, i was in the lovely Island of Sinai.
there were a lot of travellers from all over the world, and i met so many people.
we had dinner one day, a group of people,
2 Australian girls, a guy from Norway, 2 guys from Sweden, a palastinian guy, and a guy from Syria- and MYSELF.
we all had a great time, and got along perfectly.
and then, one of the girls from Australia, asked me and the two guys rom palastine and from Syria:
"how come you share this dinenr and get along so perfectly? you suppose to be enemies arent you?"
and the guy from Palastine said:
"our goverments may be enemies, but we? we are friends"
i'll never forget such a brilliant answer for my entire life,
and let me tell you,
no matter what will happen in the future and what happened in the past, the people on both sides may be bitter and hurt, the buttom line is:
we all want peace, and let us pray for it, together.
