Israeli goa/psytrance-whatever

As 99,9% of this board consists of Israelis and as I've been totally tripping out this stuff today, I wondered what do people think about the goa scene down there?..

Also, any recommendations for me, if anybody actually likes this, or is all of you just tr00metlahaæzldz from da h0d?

Check out Astral Projection, I like very much their stuff.

Basically, all Goa-trance stuff from Israel is usually of Quality. You can try to get the compilation "10 Years of Israeli Trance" that features numerous artists from Israel
 
yeah Astral Projection are pretty nice...Infected Mushroom(not mushrooms) are ok too...some of their stuff has some real live instruments with the electronics. They also had a single which is a Trance version of the song "Birthday" by Berry Saharoff(known israeli rocker)...performed with Berry himself.

This is pretty much all I know about israeli trance...
ever since junior high whenever there was a party the DJ used to play the pop mtv stuff and then later put on some trance and most of the people would just leave...then again metal wasn't that popular either...not extreme metal anyway.

I got to listen to Infected mushroom quite a lot when I became a commander and my roommates(all 5 of them) would blast it every evening...same guys also put on Jewl and K's Choice and some Hip Hop too...I brought the grunge and the nu-metal(like Korn and Limp Bizkit)...and it was to hear some nice music before your 3.5-4 hours of sleep.

I discovered Astral Projection only lately from a pretty blond girl from the OL family...It's not Nathalie or Daniela...It's DJ Hadas. I imagine most of the people here(the ones from Israel anyway and some from abroad) know who she is and to those of you who don't I'll say she DJ's metal in several clubs and usually DJ's some metal(and is very good at it) before OL go onstage, she's really nice and very attractive.
 
Check out Astrix too by the way I saw him in Israel and it was a pretty awesome time. I'm not a big fan of infected their songs get a little lame after a while and they use alot of wierd noises and stuff, I'd easily prefer Dj Tiesto- Just Be, probally the best trance album I have ever heard and I'm not even really a fan of this stuff, its just fun in clubs but that tiesto album is pretty brilliant.

New Infected this year by the way.
 
trance parties are full with loose chicks who flash their boobies at any given opportunity...which reminds me I should start going to trance parties and try to avoid being stabbed by a hot headed idiot that brings a knife to a club and looking for a reason to stab someone just for looking at him funny.
 
it's funny but metal which is considered a violent genre of music...and in Israel you never have fights in metal clubs and no one brings knives(spiked collars and wristbands maybe but no knives)...you got moshing but that's not really violence.

there are all the other symptoms like shagging in public, puking on the toilet for excessive drinking, having the WC covered in piss because binge drinkers can't aim, straight couples making out on the dance floor, straight girls making out with each other on the dance floor but no violence and no boobie flashing( :erk: )... why is that?
 
The group is not made of 99% israelis.. as you see im only the second israeli who reply here :)
Also, alot of metalheads here dont like trance music usually, and it works vice versa.

I preffer stuff like Shpongle (which are aussie), and some infected but not the tenser trace fields.

Shpongle is indeed one of the bands of this genre I listen to most.:headbang:

And yeah, I know that there's not only israelis... but there is a higher number compared to others. =)
Also, I know that alot of metalheads don't like trance.. which is almost sad, but that was what I was wondering, if people did here. But a lot of people don't like rap either. I love rap.

I like DMX...he's so unbelievably violent in his lyrics
and ehm Jay-z and that's about it

can't stand puffy or eminem or dr. dre or snoop bitch or any of that crap
 
No, they're much cheaper!

And paradoxile, go listen to some horrorcore! That kicks ass in the violent department. KGP, ICP and stuff like that. Maybe also Immortal Technique and Tech N9ne.
