It's Killer People Are Talking About Nevermore Again Here

They are different, but on the "goodness" scale, i think they are about equal. I dunno. I just like the progressive weird riffing of PoE and DNB... i wish they would do less normal chuggy chuggy and more bizarre atmosphere. There are a few twisted riffs and such on the new one, but for too much of it sounds normal to me... normal metal... and the production doesn't help. The guitar tone is good, but there just seems to be something missing. Not enough balls, not enough sledge hammer to the face, and too much flat blahhh

no. fuck Mustaine

Wow!!! why so harsh towards Dave?
If it weren't for Dave we would never have heard of Sanctuary, and then we would never have heard of Nevermore.
There are 1.5 billion bands out there looking for a shot at fame, and Dave gave them 3 chances at that.
Warrel met him, gave him a demo, and Dave liked it so much he produced thier album and helped to get them a major deal. Then he took them out on tour, and exsposed them to people like me that have been listening for 17 years. Without that prior fame and notoriaty from Sanctuary, Century Media NEVER would have signed Nevermore. Before the first disk came out, all of the ads in mags said "featuring former members of Sanctuary". Now Dave has also given them another break with Gigantour...and they have become the break out hit on the bill.

I can never figure out why people always feel the need to bash Dave. :erk:
