Dave is shit, so very very shit.

It's pointless to go back and forth over the issue of Daves beliefs, and what his feeling were over Rotting Christ.
You can find some very contrary interviews with Dave regarding these issues, and how media outlets such as blabbermouth are nothing more than metal tabloids that revel in bullshit.
Warrel was misquoted by the very same sources, over the very same issues. He has come straight out to tell people that, and how he feels that these media outlets always missquote and bend the truth.
If this is what makes a man such as Dave shit, then people have very narrow views.
Name me one other metal act that is digging into thier piggy bank to bring us a show like gigantour. This guy could loose a LOT of money if it doesn't pan out. Show me one other metal Icon that is as accesible and in touch with thier fans as Dave is.
It pisses me off that so many people like to bag on him, and have no idea what he is really about.
I hate getting tied up in bullshit like this with people. It's easy to point a finger at people an critisize...when they are not standing right in front of your face.
If you were standing toe to toe with Dave, what would you say?
Would you look him in the eye, and tell him he is shit? I don't think so....he would take your head clean off, as would I if someone said that to me.
It's easy to spout off and say fucked up shit when you don't even really know someone. Think about it...do you know him well enough to formulate an opionion based upon something you read on the internet, or in a magazine.
Write to him, express your feeling towards him. Walk up to him at a show, and tell him what you think of him.

That does not make him shit. They came to very specific terms in court, after Ellefson filed suit against Dave.
Part of the settlement was that Ellefson would get a nice chunk of money, and in return due to his actions, could nolonger affiliate himself with Dave or Megadeth.
While Dave was in the Hospital, Ellefson went to Sactuary records and asked for $50,000 to begin pre-production on a new Megadeth album. There was no such album, and instead of pressing charges against Ellefson for fraud and grandtheft...Dave re-paid Sanctuary the $50,000 that was stolen by Ellefson and convinced the label that no further action be taken.
Then after Dave completed the new album he asked Ellefson if he would like to do this one last tour, and be paid $2,500 a day. Ellefson agreed, but requested royalties and publishing rights from the new album. Dave refused his request, and Ellefson filled suit against Dave. He claimed that Dave owed him, and he had money coming to him. He never even played on the album...
So I ask you this...who is shit? Ellefson is a thief, liar, and scumbag that pissed away all of his money and resorted to stealing and black-mail.
He settled out of court for a laughable amount of money, and agreed to never again use the name of Megadeth with his own.
You should get the whole story first, and know the facts before using media snippets as a basis for opinon of a person.
In this case Ellefson is getting what he deserves. What comes around, goes around.
