Its tax time and I've got g.a.s.

...about that Line6...I owned that LINE6 combo Spider3 150W...and went jamming with some local band here in my town....the other guitarist had an old 50W Fender combo and a cheap guitar for 200$ and I had that Line6 crap and my LTD Kh-603 with EMG81. When I turned the volume knob on my line6 150W all the way, that other dude had his fender combo, again 50 fuckin' W turned half way up and he was SO MUCH LOUDER than me that no one could hear shit what I was playing. ...so much for the line6, I sold it two weeks after I bought it. So guys do yourself a favour and go for LINE ONE products like Mesa, Marshall, Orange or Peavy or ENGL... :D

I bought a Laney half stack with my tax return a few years ago.

MXD120H and some cheapo Laney 4X12 with "custom" celestions.

It sounded like absolute shit until it became a power amp for my PodXT Live.

the tube laneys have the most gorgeous cleans this side of twin reverbs IMO
nom nom nom chimeyness

I'd love to have a tube laney. Hopefully after a few gigs and some saving.
Yesterday I put a down payment on my very first Laney 1/2 stack  :kickass:
I think the best way to explain how I'm feeling would be through multimedia presentation. Please observe the following:

I hit cancel on my laney mxd 120 download from the swap shop in carlton and now I'm on my way to grab up a lovely camo print laney lx120 half stack later in the week.
a camo half stack is so badass. hopefully it doesn't sound like bad ass. it has fx loop so I can run the podxt pro just in case.

p.s.
have any of you jammed on a Laney LX120 half stack?
