I forgot about Mindcrime II. That album was shit except for two songs. Ironically, those songs were the singles!

Blizard said:I have to agree with you on the new Mercenary album. Waaaay too many breakdown beats...:Smug:
Don't they pretty much have a new line-up for this album?
I checked out the "Making Of" the new album and they had a TGE poster in their studio which was really cool![]()
I'm American was alright. But I really liked Hostage.retarded penguin said:I thought that "American" song was a single?
If so, then I will not commend your taste in music. I may even flog it!
Well, the new album was traditional heavy metal I thought. It just sounded old and tired. 83-88 were Queensryche's best years.Calamitas1786 said:Remember when Queensryche was a metal band?
Empire was alright. Some of the songs were good and some were way too boring and commercial sounding.Calamitas1786 said:I would say 1983-1990 were the best years. "Empire" was fan-Fucking-tastic if you ask me.
P.S. In terms of prog, yes Fates Warning does it better than Queensryche. Queensryche crushes FW in the metal category, though.
That album was great too, but I liked John Arch's vocals better for that more thrashy/heavy metal sound. Ray Adler is a lot better for the prog. I'm not saying it wasn't a proggy album, but I think his vocals fit in better on the next 3 albums. Not that he didn't sound amazing though.Calamitas1786 said:Don't forget "No Exit"![]()
