I don't even think the word "my pals" is the problem. The problem is that BMT is the only black person on this forum, and he has is feelings hurt because no one is accepting him. And as many have already pointed out in various posts, it's not his race that's the problem, it's his nagging, insistence upon being right, and immature reactions that have given him issues here.

In case you haven't noticed, the metal forum exists for trivial information to be passed along(who gives a shit who likes some common band?) and namecalling. Banning a person here and there is futile. The most problematic persons always seem to remain. They may not be the most abusive, but they're the dumbest - flamebait. See, I think your objective should be to create an environment conducive to good discussion. People who are exceptionally stupid and seem to start clusterfucks whenever they post are definitely not. Seems to me there's a whole lotta whining about whining or putting down people on here who may have "mainstream" musical tastes. If more time were spent "educating" some of these people on some cool new/established bands/albums instead of constantly attacking them, then there would be no issues at all. Every single person on here was a noob at some point, or hadbands they hadn't heard about. Many people on here are still unliked by others as well (like me!). Big deal, talk music and let's get over it already.
