ITT : Inspirational musicianship videos

^ I'm a big fan of all those asiatic string instruments with no fretboard. They sound so nice ! And the mongolian throat singing is so impressive... Check this one :

2:55 is definitely metal btw (in your vid)

Damn, I need to post this video as well, it's just so damn nice sounding :

Nice thread, and very cool diversity of vids.

Sometimes I get lost in different singing technics. Like throatsinging. Check out Yat-Kha, cool brooding sound and very cool technique:

This. As soon as the curtain drops and they go into the first groove, and phil goes off like a fucking bomb, it's like an instant boost of inspiration.

I don't like his style but damn, that's flawless

By the way, he misses one note during the whole video, one only, which leads me to believe he did it on purpose as a joke or something !

Here's a guy that makes me want to make firewood out of my guitars too. His playing is so fluid.

Everytime I watch a video like this one, I say to myself "shit I have to learn my fretboard one day" because being able to improvise like this is just getting to another level. And not just escalating scales, knowing where I can bend, where I can slide up/down, where to tastily skip strings... It must take a whole year of full dedication just for this only, technique set aside !

EDIT : don't know if any of you notices, but Per has been posting recently on his youtube account, with snippets from some solo songs, a few videos, etc. This one is nice

I love his style !

Don't like the music but I appreciate the tremendous musicianship

Unfortunately, most of the guitars in those vids were pre-recorded at half-speed.

I could post in this thread for 1000 videos but I'll limit to two metal related vids.
:erk:
