So the new guitar showed up yesterday! My predictions are correct: it sounds about forty times better than the one I had! Here's a pic of my setup, which does me just fine for now!

Dude, that's an awesome setup, and I'm VERY glad that you're pleased. I'm totally sorry that I couldn't put some new strings on it... the only place around here that sells them all of sudden started charging $8.99! That's fucked up!

It's worth it! I got the absolute bottom-of-the-line practice amp (Crush 15) and it still sounds pretty great! I guess i can thank man_as_robot for the recommendation !

Yea I'd love to get nice Orange head and 4x12 cabinet someday when I have the money. Actually, I've been thinking about getting a Green Amp for some time now as well-

Nice guitar, and yes, fuckoff jewps and forcing you to mail them a cheque. I don't have cheques. At least Fedex lets me pay by CC using a fax machine.

I guess I'm on the right track then! Seriously, I LOVE the tones I'm getting out of this little combo and Les Paul already! All i have to do is save up a few grand to blow on a huge stack and I'm doing alright!
