ITT: We talk about how awesome Iommi's riff writing ability is.

I'm at the end of the first 'Iommi' solo album right now, and I reckon it's kind of hit'n'miss. His riffing is generally quite awesome throughout, but some of the guest vocalists don't do much for me. Pete Steele and Phil Anselmo's performances are probably my favourites. On the whole, I love the Glenn Hughes/Tony Iommi albums a fair bit more. Really, I don't know how he does it. :headbang: :kickass:

Oh, and for the unknowing, 'Black Sabbath' (the song) = the first proper metal riff.
