im thinking about purchasing a new guitar and have pretty much narrowed it down to a Jackson Kelly or a Jackson DXMG. Does anyone have recommendations? and also is the kelly difficult to play at all while sitting down?

Kellys (or would that be Kellies?) are my favorite electric guitar. Not difficult at all to sit down and play.
I have had a USA Kelly for a few years..love it!
Easy to sit down with once you get used to the wing on the back. You have to adjust your arm a bit for it, but once you do, you will forget it's there.
Standing, it's easy to play and hold.
I suggest if you can, go to a store that has one or a friend that has one and hold it..see if it's for you.
