I think it's ridiculous that people realize Jari>Alexi in every way, but their so blinded by their fanboi-ism they just refuse to accept that there might actually be better musicians than him.

Once again, I love alexi, but he's not the hottest shit in the world, and even he knows that.

Yeah. First of all the question depends on whether ''better'' refers to more advanced technical skill or the style/compositions one prefers.

Secondly, if anyone actually thinks either of these two guitarists have anywhere near the most ideal technique in the world he/she has no clue and there is no point in arguing with him/her.

What abaout jari?
Even if you can shred/sweep fast as hell,this doesn't make you a great guitarist.(i'm not saying speed is nothing,but only that that's not the only ability a great guitarist has to have)

Great guitarist is versatile (not just metal). I believe no one said nothing about sweeping skills.

But yeah, Jari is better as composer and as guitarist.
