hahah, the classic thrash look! 
What a hassle it was trying to get your jeans "taken in" to get that tight fit. Yeah it's an emo thing now but thats what emo does, it takes a little something from every subculture before it. I have a pair of old faded jeans I still slip into for concerts. I still associate it with the thrash image, especially when worn with metal shirts & patch jackets!
but in those cases jeans where a blessing in disguise compared to spandex!:zombie:

I'd have to disagree with you there, with the obvious exception being subject matter to a SOD song

Trust those of us who know what a pain in the ass it was getting normal strecth jeans tailored to fit that tight!
On a personal note, I wasn't so much into the hightop footwear but everyone has their own tastes.

I use white sneakers on regular basis: I have a Fila pair for ordinary/gym use, and an Adidas pair for going out, but they're not of the type shown in the pic they're lower and simpler in design. Also I never liked the fashion of having the pants under the flap of the lacing of the shoes, so there was no point for me to bought those types of sneakers.
