There will be an official press release regarding me and Written in Blood coming up soon, we hit the studio next weekend to demo some new songs. There is some major label interest in WIB, so it will be interesting to see what happens with all of that. I have been really enjoying driving up to South Carolina and practicing with those guys. What drew me to this band in the first place was the powerful baritone vocals combined with the melodic thrash riffs. I think you guys will all dig what I contribute to their music.
As far as Structure of Inhumanity goes, for right this second I'm putting it on hold. I have had too many frustrations with musicians for my own good. The entire SOI album has been finished for some time now, just waiting on mixes..I promise to melt your faces with that asap. But that's a whole other story.
I'm eagerly awaiting my shipment of Aizou Clothing t-shirts, ( http://www.myspace.com/aizouclothing ) and will be sporting them in all future promotional photos and live shows.
Also, can't wait to hit the road with Pyramaze in November of course. We are gunna pwn noobs! -jonah w-

I'm just watching the US Open right now (Federer - Andreev) and thought I could check out WIB - shame on me that I haven't already done. Those songs on myspace are quite good, the mix of thrash-riffs and that vocals is pretty cool. By the way, I especially like the bass part in Rage of Achilles at 4:50. I'm curious what you will contribute to their sound - now just don't tell me I can hear you already on those samples because I couldn't sense a keyboard. :p

However, I also want to hear some Pyra-song with Urban's vocals on it soon. I hope you record the shows in Denmark in November and let us hear something of it. :)

Agree...WIB is some good stuff.

Same to be said for the US Open so far...the Federer match you mentioned was great. The story of the Open to this point is Muller who just upset no.5 ranked Davydenko. Muller is a goddamn qualifier for this tourney and has twice comeback from being down 2-sets...incredible.

Jonah must be shitting right now...being jacked by tennis!:)

Oh yeah, let's take that thread in another direction!

That match was really amazing, but I'm glad that Federer won in the end. I really like him and his style of playing. Though he's had some set-backs this year and lost his no.1 position I still consider him as the best player. Usually his playing looks so loose and easy, but certainly not yesterday. But you're right, Muller is the real sensation of this tournament, he also might win against Federer! :erk: In that case I'd see him in the final, playing against - and beating! - Nadal

Jonah, just joking... I really appreciate that you always keep us up to date! And we'll soon get back on topic! :kickass:

Federer rulez! :)

Ok, Jonah, enough thread-jacking, let's get back on topic! You said you'll hit the studio to demo some WIB-songs, that was already a weekend ago... are you satisfied with the outcome? When can we listen to some new stuff?

Cheers!

there will be tracks up at the end of the month, of that I can assure you :) -jonah w

Ah, so much new stuff for me to explore... Evergrey, Communic, Amon Amarth, all releases with Urban on vocals... and WIB! So somehow I should be able to survive until I get to hear you guys with Urban behind the mic.

Thanks for the update! :kickass:
