Just got back from Audiohammer Studios in FL! Periphery album drums are done!

wow. I'm a huge fan of the productions done at Audiohammer. Great drums! *hangs up my drumsticks*

guitargodgt: sorry man dont remember the signal chain, there were so many mics and preamps on that kit, he actually had to borrow some pres from his friend's studio because of all the mics!

moonlapse: they arent raw, they have whatever the pre's channel strip's have on them plus whatever plugins were running in protools (which i didnt really take a look at...) but they are pretty natural sounding nonetheless

joeymusicguy: we will be layering samples of orbo's snare on the hard hits to make them consistant and powerful, and replacing the kick altogether with a sample that mark is letting us borrow, but no other replacing will be necessary honestly.

gay....i cant say that i enjoy that band live very much(S.E.A.). Maybe the old Sky Eats Airplane drummer will join periphery haha. He was good....probably not nearly as good as the guy that just left though...
