Just got to work after having my ears syringed

haha!

I've got one ear blocked up as well now, i've had that before but i was 5 or something, it never happened since then... it's completely blocked now and i hate it!
I might have to go for a session as well.

I tried it myself yesterday, but weird thing was.. i injected water with a good amount of pressure, and afterwards i got so freaking dizzy i had to lay down on the spot.. :goggly: felt really weird!

Haha, its some what comforting to see there are other audio enthusiasts out there who understand the annoyance of ear blockage. My ear canals are a weird shape and I get a complete blockage in my ears every few months which takes a couple of weeks to clear and drives me absolutely insane, can't sleep properly or anything. Luckilly i've never had it in both ears at once. Syringing has never given me instant relief, I've been waiting up to 5 days after the nurse tells me my ears are totally clear for them to unblock.

And yeah, they're trying to phase out syringing all together now cos it is actually quite dangerous, could damage your ear drum permanantly.

I've heard that if the temperature of the water is too cold or warm/hot it will cause dizziness. You want to match the water with your body temperature.
