There's a lot of Gibson hatred in the net these days (and when it comes to them suing companies like PRS, they deserve it!) but I personally like their guitars. Not what you would call a "fan boy" though, since I am not loyal to any brand.

I personally own a Gibson Les Paul Standard and it is without a doubt my favourite guitar.(my Am Standard Strat comes close though)

"The sustain, the sustain.." Acoustically this guitar is super loud and the body resonates like there's no tomorrow. And yep, the sustain is amazing.

So, here's mine:

A -07 Les Paul Standard Honeyburst. I bought it brand new about a year ago.

I'm not sure, got the guitar 2nd hand off a mate. It deffo feels more like a strat neck, which I prefer. C cup lol...

I love Gibson neck profiles and just their overall huge mahogany tone. As far as 'classic' electric guitars, I like heaps more than Fenders, personally. I like their stock pickups, but I prefer some EMG's or DiMarzios for what I like to play. Closest I could get in my price range to Gibson-ish feel/tone was an Ibanez SZ320, pretty nice guitar, but not really a Les Paul.

I tried out the new Gibson Robot SG the other day--actually, two of them.

Let me just point out the reason why they go on sale for half price next week: the Gibson Robot guitars are huge pieces of shit.

That's gorgeous mate! The 60's neck profile is pretty much my favourite, super comfortable.

Awesome looking guitars!

I love my Les Paul to death. I don't care what anyone says, Les Pauls are the heaviest sounding guitars out there...period! Not just for metal either. I use mine for classic rock stuff as well.

Nothing resonates like a Les Paul.
