Just received my new ATH-M50.

Hi!!

All my band members bought me a pair of ATH-M50 headphones for christmas and sent me to Hungary last week. I received them today and been testing them out the whole day.

I can just say they SLAY.

I was really happy with them, my mixes were pretty solid then (especially the lowend was better than with my monitors in my untreated room ), but the AT, good god, they have so much detail on transients It's insane.

I find their upper range a bit weird, but I think it's due my old Philips were way too dark.

Will be posting new mixes using them as main reference soon.

Nice Man, I recently made the change to proper headphones too and it was a big difference. Although, in fairness your mixes already kicked fuckin ass!

Great band mates Erik ^^. The M50 is a really good headphone, although I do find the low-end to be a bit "rolled up", but not too much, it's pretty good actualy, but they're excellent, I use them to A/B when mixing all the time ^^ Congrats
