i'm realy insecure about the guitar tones i use, i usually like one one day and hate it the next.
but there's one in particular which i keep coming back to, so maybe someone could tell me if it's okay or just plain noise.
it realy sounds like the tone metallica had on tghe justice album, i LOVE that sound, warm and tight and lethal, kind of like pantera.
so since i don't have the right tools yet to make a sample song( but mostly cuz i'm boooored :erk: ), i played some shit of the justice album as well as cemetary gates. yeah i play like shit, but my concern is the tone.
2 problems:
1 i don't know if it's legal to post the song's. Maybe Lars will sue me :Smug:::cry::cry: or somethin
and 2 i'm new to the forum, so how do i post audio for you to hear anyway??it's confusing:loco:..

Ok, here goes:
http://www.upload.celtiaproductions.co.uk/uploads/9, Master, Mix (204).mp3

although i forgot to change the filename and it has spaces, so maybe it won't work

anyway, although I'm open to any criticism I want to justify myself beforehand: this was hastily put together and it's main focus is to showcase a PODxt patch i use frequently. I just don't know if it can compete with the tones the other guys on the forum have. Oh, it's two different guitars, using the same patch.

yeah, you have to copy the address from http all the way to mp3 and insert it in your browser for it to work, Sorry, next time i'll do it right:p

oh, about the sound, i'm thinking that it might have too much gain, but it was the only way i could get that sustain and bite, plus the justice album had so many guitars layered, and i made this sound for one guitar, so the POD needed to compete against the wall of MESAs :erk:
Also maybe the bottom end could be a little tighter ?

Ee, you tell me..:worship:
