dude i fully agree, i really have not even start editing hits since i just exported it right after we tracked it lol.
is it just on the fast parts that you are not liking the snare?

Yea, it doesnt bother on the single hit parts. This will come out really nice eventually i believe! It has this tasty aggression going on.

honestly i think right now its about 75% done, just needs some levels tweaked a little and some editing on drums and it should be good.

Snare is still a bit boofy, maby a bit less of the compression, it seems that the transient hits on the master stage more than it's supposed to and therefore there's more compression on it than it should?
Still this shit sounds so f¤#"n awesome already! Goddamn. Please share some info on this? Sounds like 5150? Kick sounds like blend of two samples slate and?? Snare is definetly mixture of 2 or even 3 samples? EQ chains? Gimme all, i want this.

this is honestly still pod farm bro, idk if ill do 5150 reamps today or not, but i will be doing them and ill post that when i get it.

the snare is actually 4 snare samples blended lol.

Toms are superior drummer. just the standard GMS toms.

kick is 10 and a blend from a kick that i have.


Bass is record with my Fender Jazz 5 string into a sansamp also with a ts808 blend reamp.


Vocals are through a sm7b into my firepod.

yeah most people i showed did not think it was pod farm but it defiantly is.
I think the sansamp tracks make that tone tho, that bass is grity and grindy as hell if you listen closely, it just blends in with my patch pretty well i guess.

Yup this mix is starting to sound good. The kick is... well I guess it's just the way it's supposed to be in this genre. I'm sure I once saw a porno where a vag did that sound when it got slapped... Hmm...

it was a pretty fast turn around we tracked this Saturday and i finished it last night some im pumped to get there new stuff done so fast because i am tracking vocals or the new Forms album this weekend and a local melodic hardcore band. good to have this done and happy with it so im not stressing to get it done.
