Kalmah in North America ??

Hey, news about Kalmah is pretty tough to find, have they ever been to North America ? and are they planning on coming here soon ?

Tonight I'm going to see Opeth for the first time in Montreal, which means I will have seen 3 of my 5 favourite bands live - next on the list is Kalmah and C.o.B (but I may see them in Dec.)/

Yeah, I don't think Kalmah has even done a major European tour. Unfortunately, that probably means a North American tour is a long ways off.

I think because of downloading and stuff Kalmah probably doesn't realize how big they are in the world and North America.

I go to a small, ~1500 person college in the US - and I'm going to say that there are at least 10 or 15 guys here who would go to a Kalmah show, no question. Almost none of them have any of the CDs though.

It's also hard to find Kalmah CD's because they are not promoted here at all.

I have only seen a couple in stores and I've boughten They Will Return because I saw it when I went to buy a CD. I haven't seen the other two since and that was almost a year ago.

Theres a well to get all 3 Kalmah cds by internet ior ask one of your Local cds stores meaning not major store just a normal store that sells cdsand ask to them to find you the cds and then if they get it, buy it

Yeah, it's not too difficult to find a Kalmah album. Rarely do places have them on hand, but you can easily ask them to order it in for you. If you're in Canada HMV does it.

And, of course, you can always order it directly from Spinefarm.

Yes. A&B Sound is the easiest for ordering CD's but it usually takes 3-4 weeks. But I am taking an even easier route. I'm moving to Finland in 19 days

It would be great if Kalmah came and toured the US, but it doesn't look too likely. I guess I will just have to go to them... Finland here I come !

ive got all 3 kalmah cds. i wish they would play a show here in the us or canada. i remember seeing in their tour history playing one show in la. that'd be kick ass if they came back again and did a full tour here.

If the new album sells enough we'll hopefully see Kalmah in Tuska 2006. The band is yet to play in Tuska so they would most likely be happy to do it.

They don't do much touring outside of Finland... They don't do much touring inside Finland. Touring North America? Probably not anytime soon...
