Kamelot - Ghost Opera

It's ok. not the best kamelot i've heard. don't think it's a concept, keyboardist is perfectly decent. It's epic sounding, but not as good as Karma. Then again, no kamelot is good as karma...

It's decent. It's no Black Halo, though. Ghost Opera is a SHORT album, too... only like 50 minutes or so.

50 minutes is not short. Maybe for prog wankery it is, but i think for most metal 45 minutes is pretty average. And black halo was nothing compared to Karma. I really don't like balck halo or epica.

i saw kamelot live a while back and the songs off the new album sounded good, they had awesome sound live, but yeah thats on my list of things to buy.

the new album of kamelot is great, my favourite album is karma but i don't want another karma or fourth legacy, i like to see the evolution of the bands and for me the new album is excellent like epica or the black halo. a little short maybe.

Whats so good about their older material, I have Karma and The Fourth Legacy and they both sound like standard power metal, not much other than the singing makes these albums better than any other power metal band. I do enjoy the song Karma and The Spell quiet a lot though, I intend on checking out their more recent stuff if I can find it.

Karma is magical through and through. Fourth legacy might have one and a half songs worth of decent material. Siege perilous also pwns teh big one11

The Fourth Legacy is overall a better album than Karma, yet the Elizabeth Trilogy, Karma and Forever are better than most TFL songs. What must not be forgotten is that A Sailorman's Hymn is in TFL.
